Tayside Aviation Fleet
Tayside Aviation operates a fleet of Cessna 152, Cessna 172 and Grob 115d Heron aircraft from Fife. Additionally, arrangements can be made to hire Tayside’s Piper PA28 Warrior and Arrow aircraft based at Dundee.
 | Cessna 152
The Cessna 152 is a two-seat, fixed tricycle gear, general aviation airplane, used primarily for flight training, touring, and personal flying. First delivered in 1977 as the 1978 model year, the 152 was a modernization of the proven Cessna 150 design. The 152 was intended to compete with the new Beechcraft Skipper and Piper Tomahawk, both of which were introduced the same year.

| Grob G115 Heron
The Grob G 115 is an advanced two-seat, fixed tricycle gear general aviation airplane, primarily used for flight training. The aircraft is constructed of advanced composite materials and each wing is a single piece.
The Grob is classed as a 'stick and bubble' and is therefore popular with the MOD. This name derives from the 'stick' which is used to direct and control the aircraft and the 'bubble' which is the cock-pit.
